We are looking for General Practitioners who want to work in Australia. We have vacancies all over the region and we support our candidates with after care and support as well as a work life balance. There are 3 different packages on offer all of which have their own benefits.
Package 1 - Explore Australia
This is for the adventurous GP, this is a working holiday program designed to give General Practitioners a pathway to experience and work throughout Australia like never before. You’ll be supported every step of your journey and if you decide you want to stay with us permanently, we can help with that too. This is a great programme for a GP who may want to explore Australia whilst working, without having to worry about travel and accommodation. You will receive a basic salary and you will be required to moving around every 3 to 6 months.
Package 2 - Australian State
The main difference between ‘exploring Australia’ and this package is that you stay within the State, rather than exploring the country. You will be required to work at different medical centres every 3-6 months (within the same state). Flights will be provided for you and your family. Each site would approximately be 30-45 minutes from a focal location.
Package 3 - Permanent
Work within a District Workforce Shortage (DWS) and have a Permanent base. DWS is a key mechanism that the Australian Government uses to achieve an equitable distribution of medical services across Australia. You will be working as a permanent GP at a DWS location.
